Job Description

I. Position Summary

Acting as the face of the company, serving each and every guest that enters the restaurant with the best experience possible

II. Job Functions

·       Order-taking, delivery, and clearing of food and/or beverage items

·       Understanding and utilization of table and seat numbers

·       Checking stations before, during and after shifts to ensure proper set-up and cleanliness in accordance to                 SNHD and company policy

·       Greeting guests in a friendly and timely manner with your name and any specials/recommendations

·       Inputting orders into Pixel to inform kitchen of the particulars of the order

·       Retrieving order from kitchen and ensuring accuracy before delivery to guest

·       Providing upmost guest satisfaction during experience

·       Abiding all state, federal and restaurant liquor polices

·       Understanding full menu knowledge including ingredients

·       Labeling and day dotting all items prepared

·       Performing side work at the start and end of each shift in Digital Red Book

o   Ensuring sanitizer buckets are in accordance to health standards and changed every 2-4 hours

o   Utilizing day dots and labels

o   Brewing tea, setting up soda station

o   Ensuring tables are clean and set correctly before and after shifts

o   Polishing silverware

o   Maintaining condiments

o   Inspecting and cleaning restroom as needed

o   Daily deep cleaning tasks

·       Understanding and utilization of POS functions

·       Ability to maintain an accurate bank

·       Opening and closing of restaurant

·       Preparing and processing check in a timely manner for each guest

·       Fully understanding upselling, sales approaches, common complaints, how to prioritize yourself, how to                     maintain dining room, safety and sanitation, company policies, and the basic steps of service

Requirements

III. Job Requirements

·       Must be at least 21 years of age

·       A current TAM Card, Food Handler’s Safety Card, and a Sheriffs Card for cross training purposes

·       Minimum 1 year serving experience preferred

·       Experience in a night life setting is preferred

·       Must have a well groomed disposition to make a favorable impression

·       Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner

·       Must be able to stand, walk, carry food for up to at least 8 hours in fast-paced, crowded, and noisy                             environments

·       At times, must be able to lift at least 50 pounds

·       Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions

·       Ability to speak, read, comprehend, and converse comfortably with guests in English  

·       Must be able to maneuver through the restaurant and tables

·       Accurate math/cash handling skills

·       Compliance to any reasonable request by management
